our story.

When local firefighters were pressed into service after the 9/11 attack, Leslie Lampert brought her home made soups as a small gesture of gratitude.  As word spread about how delicious they were, she began receiving calls for orders. And so an unexpected business was born.

The Love Brand became a reality when Ladle of Love opened its first shop on South Moger Ave in Mt Kisco in 2003. In its first year, Ladle of Love received the Best of Westchester Award and many accolades in the 15 years since.

As the first consciously-sourced take-out food shop in Westchester specializing in small batch production, Ladle of Love quickly grew its menu to include soups, stews, salads, sandwiches, snacks and suppers. Shortly thereafter, Love On The Run Catering followed.

In February, 2017,  Ladle of Love Bronxville opened on Palmer Ave—across from New York Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital.
